QuickStart

The S10e runs QuickStart which is Lenovos version of Splashtop. Splashtop is an award winning instant-on platform. The breaking news that Splashtop would be used on the S10e was announced October 28 (2008) by the developers behind Splashtop, DeviceVM. The Lenovo IdeaPad S10e was the first netbook in the world to offer a true instant-on experience. The reason why Splashtop or “QuickStart” is so amazing is that the user can surf the web, check their email, chat online or video conference right after turning on their S10e, and this is done without having to start the traditional operating system (Windows XP Home Edition or SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop).
